Naming Subcommittee

The Naming Committee met before Thanksgiving to continue our investigation into the new name for our combined parish. We appreciate all the feedback regarding keeping either Queen of Martyrs or Saint Bernadette as the parish name; however, there are requirements in place established by the Archdiocese that will not allow those suggestions to come to fruition. 

We spent our time looking at the list of eleven names that Father Bob initially presented to the group and discussed why we felt they did or did not work for this parish community. From there, we expanded our conversation to some additional suggestions that were presented by both committee members and by parishioners through the Unification Website.  Please email our team at QMSTBunification@gmail.com if you have any ideas or suggestions!  Deadline for these submissions is January 31, 2023.  Also, continue providing prayerful support as we continue to try to find a saint that has a devotion to Mother Mary and/or a martyr as a representative for our new parish name.
